In the Bible, in Hebrews 9:22, it is stated: “In fact the law of God requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Again, we have another problem: the blood of whom?
The grace of God:
“Behold The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” John 1:29
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
It is clear according to the word of God that, by the blood of Jesus Christ, we have been saved.
In Eid Al-Adhaa, thousands of sacrifices were slain to please Allah and to remember that God redeemed Abraham’s son by this great sacrifice. Jesus Christ is the Great Sacrifice; He is the only perfect sacrifice because he is the only person that has no sin.
In 1 Peter 2: 22 and 24, it is written about Jesus that “He committed no sin ,and no deceit was found in his mouth”…”He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree ,so that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed”
Jesus is the one who paid for our sins and “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation” 1 Corinthians 5:19.
Jesus died on the cross for me and for you. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1. Jesus, on the cross opens his armed and invites everyone to come to him to find salvation through faith in him.
